Our commitment

We aim for the ThisQuarter website and desktop software to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. Accessibility is an ongoing effort — we test and improve continuously rather than treating it as done.

Accessibility features you can turn on

Both the website (in the footer) and the desktop app (Settings → Accessibility) let you:

• High contrast — increases the contrast of text, borders and focus indicators.
• Reduce motion— minimises animations and transitions. This also follows your operating system's "reduce motion" setting automatically.
• Larger text — scales text and controls up without breaking the layout.
• Light and dark themes (desktop app), independent of your system setting.

Your choices are saved on your device. Standard browser zoom (Ctrl/Cmd +) is also fully supported.

How we build for accessibility

• Semantic HTML and accessible, keyboard-operable components throughout.
• Visible keyboard focus indicators, and full keyboard navigation of menus, forms and dialogs.
• Text alternatives for meaningful icons and images; decorative graphics hidden from assistive tech.
• Colour contrast checked against WCAG AA, with the high-contrast option as an additional safeguard.
• Forms with clear labels and error messages written in plain English.

Known limitations

We are candid that some areas may not yet fully meet Level AA. We are carrying out ongoing testing (automated and manual) and fixing issues as we find them. If you rely on a specific assistive technology and hit a barrier, please tell us — real-world reports help us prioritise.

Compliance status

This website and the ThisQuarter desktop software aim to comply with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. They are partially compliant while we complete our audit and address the known limitations above. This statement will be updated as that work progresses.
